I have this beautiful raindrop peperomia that has grown so much since I got it last April. Recently it’s been pretty moody. The leaves are going soft and growth has stopped. I repotted it and moved it to a brighter location, and it went back to normal for a week or so. Now leaves are getting soft again, and I’m not sure what the issue is. Please help this is one of my fav plant babies!!!

Are you watering it enough? Did the roots look ok when you repotted it?

The roots were fine. I was worried about overwatering, but I can water it and see if it improves. It’s been about a week or so since watering

Make sure the soil is dry first. That might not be the problem, it was just the first thing that came to mind. They are more drought tolerant than some plants but if you leave them dry for a couple days they will start to show it.

I was wondering too if it needs a stake. Would that be a reason for decline?

I doubt it. I had a branch in one of my pepperomias fall over just recently bcuz it got too long and top heavy but its been fine otherwise. It might not be a bad idea to get one, but I don't think it will fix your problem.
