Are my peace lilies dying? I water them once a week. I had them indoors but due to the browning of leaves I moved it to the back porch.

    You can save it. Get rid of the burnt blooms, and any burnt tips, spray it really good with a water hose to get rid of any pest, put it in a terracotta pot or self watering pot with a good draining soil. Spray it really good with neem oil. You are overwatering I’m sure that’s why you’re getting the browning. Wait til the leaves look sad before you water

    Check with soil moisture meter before you water. But don’t water every week

    It may actually get too much light on the back porch. They like filtered light so avoid direct light hitting the plant for anything longer than an hour. I have to move mine out of the window in spring and summer months to deeper into my living room. Blooms browning is just a normal part of the life cycle. The leaves look healthy so I’m thinking it was actually happy where you had it…especially because you had a LOT of flowers.

      I moved it to the back porch only this morning though. It was in our kitchen all this time 😕

      Honestly from the photos it doesn’t appear that anything is wrong with the plant itself. A peace lily’s flowers last anywhere from 1-3 weeks and then turn brown or even green. That’s what it looks like has happened. They are shade loving and you don’t have any brown tips to the leaves which tells me it was really in a great spot and getting enough (but not too much) water and light. If you want to leave it on the back porch, I suggest moving it to the coffee table.
