Good morning all, I come to you as I really don't know what else to do. My monstera was happy and thriving in spring and it's health suddenly changed over the summer months. It all started with some leaves yellowing, after doing some research I found this could be either because pests (spider mites) or routbound. I looked at the roots and they were indeed routbound so I bought a monstera mix potting soil and repotted in a plastic pot 2 Inc bigger than it's previous one. Soon after this, the leaves that were turning yellow turned completed yellow and I removed them. Now, it looks like it's suffering from oedema, not really sure why as I water it until the soil is dry. Your advise would be extremely appreciated as I am worried it will die.

It is pretty typical for a monstera to go through some stress right after a repot. How long has it been since you repotted it?

Thanks for coming back to me Bo, it's been about 1 week since I repotted it. I have already checked it for spider mites and I couldn't find anything so that's when I checked for routbound and it was pretty bad so that's why I decided to repot

this type of stress shouldn’t happen after a repot, it’s almost definitely not that. what is the lighting situation? how much direct light does it get everyday and what direction does the window face. has it been in the same spot this whole time?

It's about 30 cm away from a Southeast having window. Before the repot it was on the same pot and the routbound was pretty bad, when I repot it I loosen up the roots. Thanks for your help!

It is well fenestrated so it is probably getting enough light. What about nutrients? Lack of can lead to yellow leaves. And you say that you wait till soil is dry before watering. Do you mean the surface or almost entire pot? Cause mine goes until pot is dry.
