Ordered a plant about a month ago and everything seemed fine. Started noticing these white things on the tray after I watered it. Not sure what I should do or what they are. Don't want it to infect the rest of my plants. Please help!

I have the same problem but with my elephant ear plant and I truly have no clue if they’re bad or not but I’ve had my elephant ear for three months and it seems to be fine so I don’t know if it’s a cause for alarm I don’t even know what they are

diatomaceous earth would be my best guess at getting rid of these guys, i don’t know what they are myself, but mysterious bugs in the house always need to go, regardless of if they might be munching on the roots or not

I had similar bugs (centipedes?? whatever they are) on a plant of mine last year - I stopped watering my plant to dry it out completely and eventually the bugs all died off.

Thank you guys for all of your help. I was surprised to see so many as I had just received this plant a month ago.
