Hi! Can anyone tell me if these are possible to revive/propagate or if they’re goners? I usually “forget” to water so that the soil dries out completely. But a few days ago I reached under the leaves to check the soil and was surprised when I uprooted them with a gentle touch. I just thought the lower leaves were just dying off with age, but… was it a sign of the roots rotting off?

If that is the climbing aloe, you can try to take off all the dry/rotted parts, then remove several of the lower leaves (so that you have a little bit of a stem), and plan e them in soil. Wait about three days before watering, and then water throughly. Wait until the soil is fully dry before watering again. I have several babies that I have been able to propagate that way.
