Do you all use Neem oil preventatively? And is there any plants that I shouldn’t put it on?

I don’t usually but I brought in some new plants and didn’t isolate them so I just went ahead and sprayed all of them to be safe
1 LikeI keep making a mess when I spray them….

0 LikesHonestly? I just spray and then clean the mess up afterwards
2 LikesI also take my plants into a bathroom with a tub, spray them down, shake them off a bit, and then use some dish soap (to cut the oily film) and drizzle it all over the area of the tub where I sprayed, turn on the shower head on full blast and move the shower head around and around until the soap is gone 🤷🏻♀️
2 LikesNeem oil has to make direct contact with pests to be effective, so using it preventatively might not be making a difference

i use it preventatively and to clean the leaves of my plants. i dilute it and add peppermint oil for my patio too
1 LikeI use concentrated neem oil mixed with water and a drop or two of Dr bronners. I spray the leaves for cleaning and the soil as a preventative along with a sprinkle of diatomaceous earth (added pest control + silica) Neem is also an anti fungal and mold killer. I’ve used it to treat an overwatered cactus that was getting mushy at the base.

I spray it on a sponge and use it when cleaning the leaves as a preventative measure
