Not enough light. They get very thin and stretched out because they’re reaching for sun but don’t have enough energy for full leaves. They may be labeled as “low light tolerant” but that just means they die slower or less dramatically, unfortunately they won’t thrive unless given good lighting like most plants. Another thing is that it seems your pot is far too big and the soil looks very water-retentive with little to no additives. That is a recipe for root rot 🥴 snake plants are much like succulents, they prefer a well-draining soil mix (perlite, orchid bark, maybe even charcoal) or a succulent mix and less frequent waterings than most tropical plants. They also like to be snug in their pot, I’d suggest looking at the roots and finding a pot that is only an inch bigger than the root ball itself, otherwise all that extra soil will hold more water than the roots can handle at once. Hope this is helpful!
