What is this little guy on my monstera plant? Friend or foe? Most of my plants are on my balcony, I live in Florida if that is necessary for better ID.

LeafyGreenhouseIt looks like a baby cat face spider they are completely harmless and will eat the bugs off your plants. They can grow to be medium size as well and make very interesting web designs.

I find them all over my backyard and have even held one before (I know that’s crazy lol)

Thank you! I have also seen lacewing eggs on the back of some of her leaves and I would like them to stay and fend off spider mites because it’s been exceptionally hot and dry in Florida this year and most of my plants are outside. Which means exceptional spider mites. lol. Just gotta keep an eye to make sure the little spider leaves enough of the lacewing larvae alone for them to hatch and do the things. Lol. Thank you!

Not at all! Not my thing, but I don’t think it’s weird. From what I learned after looking into them because of your comment, they seem like pretty cool spiders!
