What on earth is happening here and what should i do???? Ive never seen a philodendron leaf act like this. Its leaves are similar shape to a ”ring of fire”, but theyre all green. Do i help her unfurl, and if so HOW? It almost looks like two stems are connected to it lol

It wouldn't hurt to help. Mist it with water and be very gentle. If it Feels like you're going to tear then stop.

Can be a sign it needs more humidity to push out the leaves. When this happens i sparingly mist the sheath to let it soften and it usually corrects itself. If not, running a smooth round tool or non sharp tool gently under the edges of the sheath to loosen helps. Dont try to pull or tug the leafs

it's struggling to unfurl. wet a towel with warm water and fondle for a minute or two. feels awkward but it does the trick lol

I had a leaf struggle like yours last Oct. It's highly deformed. Took forever to get it this far. I may eventually cut it off, but since than 3 new leaves all fine. I agree with others, more humidity, a damp cloth...
My BOP did this exactly with many leaves when it started trying to grow late winter before my temp/humidity were warmer/higher.
0 Me gustaI mist them occasionally when new leaves are coming in. Once it gets most of the way open you can gently (very gently) pull it to help it out. If it's hard to pull at all, wait some more; never force it
