I noticed my bonsai can get stressed out right quick, there’s a fine line between overwatering and underwatering it. How often do you water it? And does it have drain holes? Mine prefers moist soil than when the top section dries up I know to water it again, I don’t have any drain holes but have instead a layer of rocks at the bottom to help so on watering days it doesn’t pool at the bottom and potentially cause root rot. Have you recently repotted it ? Or moved it also? Mines sensitive to both of those, it’s so tempermental 🤣

i water it every 7 days cause that’s when planta told me too…lol. it does have a drain hole and i got it a few months ago as a gift so i have yet to repot it!

I know Planta says it prefers partial sun/shade, but I found mine prefers the sun for most of the day. If everything else is looking good and you’re letting the top of the soil dry out inbetween watering it, it could be that the stress of a new home is just catching up to it now, maybe just monitor it and see if it slows down or if it continues to happen.

Check for pests such as spider mites as well. You can never be too careful.
