Found this coming out of the bottom of my birds nest snake plant today. The plant was gifted to us back in the fall and is still in the original container. Some type of fungus but does this mean my plant is toast? Help!

Wow, no expert but I have when this on this app, not read up on it enough, I’m sorry but I never imagined I would see it for real on a plant. I’ll see if I can find the information.
1 likeIt looks like Leucocoprinus birnbaumii, a gilled mushroom common in nurseries and houseplants. Not harmful to your plant but may indicate damp conditions. Some consider it a sign of healthy soil.
