I just got this plant recently and it has some spots on the leaves. I haven’t even put it in its designated pot yet but should I be concerned?

    Do you mean the row of spots on the upper leaf? If so, those look like mechanical damage, like it just got scratched or something. If not, I would post a close-up of the spots you’re concerned about so we can see them in more detail.

      Thank you! The rest of the plant looks healthy so I think I’ll just leave it and keep an eye on it.

    I agree, that looks like mechanical damage. Sometimes it helps to mist new leaves to help them unfurl smoothly
