Hi all, I am newer to house plants and am having a hard time figuring out what’s going on with my Ficus Audreys… one has minimal leaves and a tiny bit of browning (lives right next to a window with partial light all day) and the other is about 8 feet from the window in our bright living room. This one has browning leaves and almost silky-cobwebby material on the stem and leaves. I have no idea what to do. Thank you!

Check the roots, if the roots are tightly circling the pot or forming a dense mat, then it’s root bound and would benefit from repotting. It also looks like you have spider mites, if I were you, I’d wipe leaves with a damp cloth or spray with a mix of water + a drop of mild dish soap, or use insecticidal soap/neem oil. Repeat weekly until under control. I would also prune damaged leaves. This won’t fix the problem but will help the plant redirect energy to healthy growth.

Thank you for the suggestions! I didn’t see anything crawling around on the stems or leaves, but I figured it was a parasite or bug considering the little webs. 😊
