Hi Everyone....newer plant dad here. I have had this Peace Lily since July 2025. It has been doing fairly well and still producing blooms. I repotted a few days ago after it was definitely needed and have been keeping an eye on it. It does respond to watering and I have been fairly consistent on that process, as well as taking care of it. I have always been concerned about the way the leaves are....almost folded in half on some of them. This has been going on since I had the plant. I thought it may be the light???? I think it gets enough light from my east facing window, even on the cloudiest days (today is a cloudy day). This plant is placed about 3 feet away from the window. I'm always worried about getting too close to the window as the Sunlight does come in it at different times of the year. I have had a couple of different plants get scorched tips in the past. I am open to any helpful tips at all to keep this plant healthy.

this may or may not be the reason for the floppy leaves, but i also have a peace lily (different variety) and boy oh boy is she sensitive. they definitely get dramatic with underwatering so maybe a self watering pot might help? i also sometimes like to water mine with distilled water as i think they are also sensitive to minerals etc in water. just from experience, mine has never been better since i switched her to leca - not that you need to do this at all, but seems that drying out might be an issue. hope this helps :)

Thanks and yes are they moody lol. Yes been using Distilled water from the beginning. But I'll keep an eye on the watering. I'm was overwatering at first but quickly figured that out so perhaps I'm still getting that balance. Thanks for the tip. :)

Leaves curling under is light stress.

Hi there. So do you believe it would need more light? My thoughts are to move it closer to the window. Thanks for the tip.

Less light. Mine is in a low light corner in my living room.
