Hello! Another prop question, so I saved these node/aerial root cuttings from a pothos with root rot, the inside of each cutting looked fine and not brown from rot before I put them in room temp water. Should I have dipped these in hydrogen peroxide before propping or is it okay? When should I change out the water, it’s been a few days but looks kindve sludgy.

  1. GreenLeaf

The yellowing leaf could just be from the original trauma it was going through (the root rot). They look fine to me. I change my water every 7-10 days, or when it gets gross. I also gently rinse the props to get off any algae forming. You can usually feel this, it’ll be slimy feeling.
