Alocasia go into dormancy when there are low light conditions (winter) it could just bounce back when it starts getting brighter. Water it less until then.
1 likeMealybugs? Hard to tell from the picture. They are the white cottony bits that shrink to an orange 🍊 dot when you dab rubbing alcohol on them with a cotton swab. It’s highly likely they are on your other plants if you don’t wash your hands or disinfectant between touching plants. Hand sanitizer has enough alcohol to kill them on your hands. You have to inspect all the plants. Wipe down or spray with diluted rubbing alcohol. Repeat in a week until you don’t see new ones. I recommend adding Mosquito Bits into the soil and in the water when watering plants. Kills fungus gnats, mealybugs, white flies and other insects that live in wet soil. Also, could be overwatering. Let the soil dry out more.

I’ve checked for bugs so don’t think its that. I’ve been watering about every 2-3 weeks over winter but it does seem fine when I don’t for a while so will stay on the lesser side with it thankyou

Oh
0 likesMake sure it is not in a drafty area and gets humidity. Since I repotted mine (I had overwatered) and have it near a grow light (not directly under it) and added misting as recommended by Planta, I have not lost another leaf. I hope this helps!
