I’ve been dealing with mealybugs as well. Multiple plants had them and I think I’ve made good progress. I have been spot treating with 70% isopropyl alcohol on a a-tip, spraying with neem oil and my i went as far as treating my gollum jade with systemic granules bc of all its nooks and crannies.
1 likeAfter the alcohol and swab treatment, you should spray with your mealy killer of choice, and then spray and check for mealys about every week for a couple months. From what I understand they do not live in the soil. I use Bonide Systemic to help keep them at bay. And I often spray my plants with Systemica when I water them.
2 likesI looked on Amazon, and could not find the product you call Systemica. Could you tell me where you purchased it, and why you like it? TIA!
0 likesFrom Amazon. Called company to get dosage. It’s 2 oz per gallon. Ready to use spray is available from other companies but they all charged enormous shipping fees. One was $99. Saw it recommended on a few blogs. Originally reconnected by Tanner. It’s enough for a lifetime. There is no limit on how often to use. Plus it’s systemic which is a big plus.
