I’ve been dealing with mealybugs as well. Multiple plants had them and I think I’ve made good progress. I have been spot treating with 70% isopropyl alcohol on a a-tip, spraying with neem oil and my i went as far as treating my gollum jade with systemic granules bc of all its nooks and crannies.

After the alcohol and swab treatment, you should spray with your mealy killer of choice, and then spray and check for mealys about every week for a couple months. From what I understand they do not live in the soil. I use Bonide Systemic to help keep them at bay. And I often spray my plants with Systemica when I water them.

I looked on Amazon, and could not find the product you call Systemica. Could you tell me where you purchased it, and why you like it? TIA!

From Amazon. Called company to get dosage. It’s 2 oz per gallon. Ready to use spray is available from other companies but they all charged enormous shipping fees. One was $99. Saw it recommended on a few blogs. Originally reconnected by Tanner. It’s enough for a lifetime. There is no limit on how often to use. Plus it’s systemic which is a big plus.
