Hi! I'm looking for some help with identifying what the heck these white specs are.
Update: I have tried to rub them off and they're not moving.

0 J'aimeI have a pilea and I’m happy to report that doesn’t look like something of serious concern. Some plants have “pores” and shed excess salt and other minerals through them from time to time. It’s common to spot on jades but I’ve definitely seen this on pilea too. If you’re having any other problems with this plant, though, the folks here are happy to help you troubleshoot. 4 J'aimeAs said, pilea are one of the plants that excrete minerals from their leaves. Which if you're giving spring water they often have a fair amount of dissolved minerals. I have seen people use a vinegar dilution to wipe them/dissolve them. But it's usually on the bottom and not harmful, so i leave any
