My peperomia has had leaves curling and slow growth lately. Help!! Plant AI says overwatered but top soil is dry and I’ve only been watering as instructed. Could still be that but just wanted second opinion..

Slow growth may just be due to the time of the year, depending on where you're located—I'm in the northeastern US so not only are we getting fewer hours of daylight, but the UV index is way down, so even in full daylight plants aren't getting the same amount of light as they do in sunnier parts of the year. You could supplement with a grow light! When I noticed curled leaves on my peperomia, I thought it may be a humidity issue; I've had no problems with its leaves curling since getting a humidifier so I recommend trying to increase the humidity! Low humidity is also something that can be exacerbated this time of the year, depending on where you are; near me, the air has gotten dramatically drier over the last two weeks alone. I love peperomias and the variety you have is gorgeous, I'm jealous of that variegation!! She looks very happy overall 💚🌿

I think Olivia is correct, and I also love this variety. I have had one just like it for many years and before warned it may revert to being only green. Mine did but it's still beautiful. There is an excellent article entitled the ultimate care guide for variegated indoor plants (and how not to kill them). You will find it at lovethatleaf.com. I find the entire love that leaf site very helpful.
