My work has this aloe plant. I have taken it upon myself to repot it this weekend. I have an indoor potting mix and will some extra perlite in it. Would that be okay for this plant? Does it need a bigger pot?

Look at the roots when you pull it up. That’ll determine if it needs a bigger pot. I’m guessing it won’t, but if you pull it up and see a LOT of roots, then it could use a slightly bigger pot. I think the potting mix with perlite will be good for it!

i would guess it needs a smaller pot rather than larger. aloe have a very small root system compared to their leaves. potting soil with perlite works as long as it’s at least 40-50% perlite depending on your watering habits and the light / humidity / temperature on site. lots of grit like perlite and pumice is very important for healthy succulents as it ensures airflow to the roots.
4 J'aimeYep, I completely agree!
0 J'aimeIt looks like it definitely needs more light
3 J'aimeYes, it does! Please remember to gradually move it to more sun though. Don’t just put it straight outside in full sun or it will burn. A few hours a day in a brighter location than it was in, for a few days. Then keep moving it to brighter for longer until it is eventually in the location you want to move it to all day.😊
0 J'aimeI wouldn’t repot - I’d get that baby in the sun!
