So far for us the best working solution is carnivorous plants

1 LikeI am a beginner gardener and I started having this problem when started getting indoor plants in my new home. A combination of Zevo, rock pebbles on the soil surface in the pot and neem oil for every watering is working for me so far.
2 LikesHow do use the neem oil
0 LikesThe instructions are on the bottle. It is highly concentrated. So I use it as per instructions on the bottle. Mix in water as per proportion mentioned and water the plants with it. I also use the same water mix for misting the plants.
0 LikesMosquito bits 100% eradicated my issue
2 Likes4tbs to 1 gallon of water. Let it sit to a make a “tea” then water all plants with it

1 LikeI've come to accept them in my home because I can't TOTALLY get rid of them. I see one flying about like once every couple weeks which, for me, is totally a win. I treat the topsoil with cinnamon (mix it in the top 2–3 inches with a spoon) and spray generously with neem oil. And every plant has a yellow sticky trap.
