Weird question. Is there a pest that can cover a whole shelf with webbing? I didn't see a spider anywhere and none of the plants had spider mites. It was on the shelf with the orange boat lily. The whole underside was covered. 🤷‍♀️

It’s typically spider mites or spiders in indoor plants. Web worms can tent an entire tree webbing. They are typically not on small plants or indoors. Plus, the mites and web worm caterpillars live inside the webs. It could also be an abandoned spider web. 🪴🍀

I checked the plants out and didn't see anything other than the web which was also on the plants. Hoping for the abandoned spider web. Going to keep an eye on them.

Someone on this site told me you can usually tell a spider mite vs a regular spider by its irregular webbing. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to them whereas regular spider webs usually have some symmetry. I know that’s not addressing your issue but a fun fact I thought I’d pass along for future reference.

It's a boat lily. I have purple ones and didn't realize they came in orange. Just got that one last week.
