I’m so upset about this! This is Zeus, my Alocasia. He’s new to the family but he’s sick? I removed him from his pot, removed root rot & have him all new soil with extra perlite & gave a light watering. Came home today and 3 of his leaves are super droopy now :( I know they don’t love having their roots messed with but I figured it was better than making him soak in an old soil that wasn’t draining right. Any tips or tricks? Has anyone had this happen to their alocasia?

I’d give him a chance to recover from the re-pot.

this is very, very normal. especially because the affected leaves are smaller, this is a good sign actually. if the newest leaves were drooping you'd have a bigger problem, but this is normal after a repot. they're very fussy.

Are the droopy looking leaves feeling weak and wilted or do the stems feel stiff and healthy? If the latter, then that condition is caused by overly bright light.
