my thai constellation monstera has this brown spot. what does it mean. this is my first monstera plant so i’m not fully sure what is wrong.

    Could be overwatered, too much direct sun. Low humidity. Pests. If all of them seem good then I’d put it down to the life of just being the cream part of the leaf

    I wouldn’t worry too much about that. The white sections are sensitive and most likely to brown with over/under watering, too much sun etc. You can just keep an eye on it, if it gets bigger you may have some changes to make, otherwise a small spot is completely normal

    I also wouldn't worry about it! I've heard adding a silica can help toughen up light variegation. Haven't tried myself though, so worth extra research.
