hey all! first time plant parent. i inherited this money tree along with a few other plants. my cat chewed on some of the leaves and i have mostly pruned those (though there’s at least one with some bites in it i couldn’t bring myself to cut 🄲) but what i’m wondering about is this yellow bit. i read that it was from overwatering so i moved it to a dryer place but it’s been probably over a week and these few leaves just keep yellowing. should i just prune them? there’s still new growth which i pictured so i know the plant isn’t doomed yet.

Yes they won’t un-yellow so go ahead and clip them off!

Mine was doing the same exact thing and the leaves were dropping off like crazy. ā˜¹ļø So I put it under my grow light and it seems to be doing much better now. Also I haven’t watered it in almost a month. They don’t like the wet soil apparently. I’m not sure why the app say part sun ā›…ļø for lighting conditions 🧐

i think the problem occurred because i put it by the sink to keep it away from my cat and i think it just got too humid and wet there. i don’t have a grow light yet but eventually plan on getting some so i might expedite that if it doesn’t fix up! but it’s just this one spot, the other leaves are green and healthy (despite a few teeth punctures in one leaf 🄲)

Oh ok lol That makes sense. In that case I would just cut that off.
