Orchid bark which I just get from Walmart! For the pot, I get them from Amazon from the brand RepotMe because they have slots on the sides. Orchid roots love oxygen

Agreed with this one. RePotme is amazing. My African violets are thriving in their soil. They are a little pricey on some stuff.

I would not repot while it’s blooming. It will likely lose its flowers

Some of the older flowers have started dying. I’m scared it’s bc of how full and crammed the roots are

I agree with send_nodes but please send pics when you take it out of the pot

If that tag tells you to water with ice cubes, ignore that — it’s bad PR lol. You can use bark like send_nodes suggested. I use a mix of fir bark and sphagnum moss to help keep things moist. I soak to water about once a week now that it’s hot — water thoroughly when the roots turn silvery. Using a pot with slots like send_nodes said is critical for air flow. Orchids are ephiphytes, meaning they grow in nooks and crannies of rocks and trees, not in the dirt, so that is a key factor. Good luck!
