My thanksgiving cactus was doing great a few months ago and all of a sudden it is starting to turn brown from the bottom and fall off the plant its self. does anyone know whaha going on??? It was so full a month ago and now it’s falling apart

    Mine did the exact same thing I don’t know what happened. I took the pieces that did that removed from plant and saved the tops that were ok and repotted to try and regrow

    are the brown peices soft and mushy, or dry? if its mushy, its definately overwatering. i would repot into a well draining, chunky mix, and water when completely dry. if its dry, im not sure, i would say underwatering, but that would probably look more like super thin and wrinkly leaves rather than a brown base.

      I would say maybe under watering, They definitely aren’t mushy but they are brown and wrinkled but they are falling off the plant its self

    Sounds like maybe rot from overwatering. You'd have to unpot and look at the roots
