Can someone help figure out what's going on with my split leaf philodendron? This is what it used to look like and this is what it looks like now. I added one tiny jobe fertilizer stake about 3 weeks ago. I've given it lots of water lately as I moved it outside about a week ago. I've had it a few years and it normally loves being moved outside. I don't know what's going on! Help!

Check the roots. Root rot can cause yellowing. Overgrown roots can also cause yellow leaves.

To me it looks burnt. When you moved it outside did it get direct light?

No it was on a covered porch. If it did it would have been 6pm or later, but it was hot here last week. I'll try a different spot and see if that helps.

Could you have added too much water?

Could have. Usually if I water to much it turns yellow but stays soft and pliable. These leaves are crunchy.

Watering could be a factor or smthn like environmental issues like low humidity or like others said too much sunlight

I just think it may have a hard time getting adjusted to the outdoor climate. Especially if it is a drastic difference from the inside. Also the humidity could possibly be another factor.
