It looks kind of like fungus growth… is the soil super wet?
1 j'aimeNot super. I don’t usually water the Hoyas until they’re almost dry. I think I’m going to clean and repot just in case. Never seen something like this and I’m not a fan of :(
0 J'aimeCould just be some kind of mold or fungus growth. In clear pots stuff like that can grow easier if its getting good sunlight
1 j'aimeThis is a typical fungus found in soil. The clear pot promotes the growth since it lets light inside. This fungus is an indication the soil is healthy and rich with organic matter. It’s not harmful. The spores are sometimes in the potting mix you bought, came in on the people/pets are the soil or came in from new plants. It’s not an issue. You can clear with a commercial fungicide if it gets out of a hand. It typically dies off. 🪴🍀

1 j'aimeI agree with Sunny and I’ve seen some before in my clear potted plant soil. They won’t harm the plant or roots.
