Please help, I bought this half dead philodendron gloriosum hoping to save it, and it’s not going as hoped. the leaves are paper thin and floppy, but the stems and middle of the leaves are strong and hydrated. It was just treated for thrips as a precaution too, my other plant had them and was nearby but no signs on the gloriosum. any advice? She gets indirect light throughout the day, is misted often and sits outside my shower for extra humidity, and gets a tropical/airy soil mix. thanks!

Is that middle leaf a new leaf? If she’s pushing out a new growth then she’s probably coming around but those bigger leafs are close to being done for. From my experience (which isn’t a lot) I let the leafs do their best until new ones pop out to replace them then depending on their damage cut them back so the plant can focus on re growth. How are the stems, strong and sturdy? Have you checked the roots in case those might have any damage or rot? Just some ideas hope she comes around! I know the cold here has damaged serval plants at the store so the cold might be a factor as well. Hope some of that might help

thanks for the tips! it is a new leaf but the half that was unfurled is completely damaged and brown/crispy, the half that is just opening up is just fine. the only leaves that are not damaged are about an inch big 😭 stems are perfect and the roots look just fine, no root rot. I had thought it was without humidity and water for too long and with some tlc she might bounce back. thank you!
