Hello everyone! My one years old avocado is getting sick. His leaves have started to dry and becoming crispy, some of them have already detached from the plant? Can you help me? Thank you🥑

I have this exact problem with my avocado seedlings, they are SO fussy. I have tried steam baths to increase ambient humidity (I filled a shallow tray with small pebbles and poured boiling water on it to get some steam in the area… didn’t see much change but didn’t get worse). Another solution is trying to keep it a little warmer - don’t know where you are located but I am finding the cold and dry Australian winter indoors is a likely villain. Other than that, keeping it well watered is good (Planta’s watering schedule has seen some life coming back to my dry avos!) and if the soil seems too soggy (avos hate soggy soil) then try repotting with a potting mix with plenty of drainage with perlite. I’ve also seen orchid mix recommended for avos too due to their good drainage, but haven’t tried it myself. Good luck, all us avo growers are in the same dry and crispy boat!
