Does this look like edema or thrips larvae on my watermelon peperomia? I haven’t seen any bugs on it, but it also looks like something has been eating the leaves.

When I’ve come across the split part nearest your hand, it’s been down to spider mites, not quite sure but just a little down from your thumb looks like could be one, also see you got the standard fungus gnats, don’t think it’s them. Not an expert on edema as normally popped holes from to much water which could be the small dents but normally looks a little different so could be a pest, do you have any other markings on plants near it

Appreciate the reply! The other plants are unaffected, luckily. It’s so hard to tell if there are tiny tiny bugs or just pieces of dust.

Just did a google ai search and says the brown markings is a fungal problem or rot and best to cut of infected leaf and to check roots for rot, also said tear can be from spider mites which is what I think I see, is there any sign of small webbing on the leafs , normally near top of stem, start of leaf, marking also could be down to using very cold water and humidity is low

Yeah, no webbing. I’m not familiar with scale but will do more research on that.

Another good check for spider mites is to breathe hot air on them. They hate the heat and they’ll scurry around trying to get away.
