VFT virgin here! 🪰🌱 here we both are sitting outside for enrichment time 💚 I bought this cutie little VFT from Canadian Tire a few days ago and repotted it as soon as I came home, making sure the soil has all the goodness Google told me VFT needs. Understandably it was in a bit of shock between being purchased, the bumpy car ride home, and being handled to be repotted, but most of the traps have opened again after just a couple of days… so I think she’s in good spirits! Anyone have any tips or tricks? I know to keep the soil wet so I have the lil pot in this candle jar so I can keep the bottom a little wet (will be getting rain water this spring! But for now distilled water), and I currently have her sitting in an almost-south facing window where she gets like 4/5pm sun onward but it’s pretty filtered out by then!
