I got this ivy a few weeks ago and it looked great, I’ve been watering it when plants tells me too. But then last week this one shoot started to wither and it looks a bit dry I don’t know if i need to cut the dead shoot off or leave it. I’ve never had a plant like this before and I’m worried it might be dying

You'll look for soft, or spongey roots, anything thats rotten, or dried out

I had a plant do this recently and thought I must've forgotten to water it, but I took a closer look and it was spider mites

I had an ivy and it got too hot from the summer sun and burned/died. Maybe bring it inside if it’s not already!
