It’s sooooo thirsty! I can tell because the leaves look thin & curled in on themselves! Give it a good soak

Some people might tell you it looks sun stressed but just remember sun stressed is NOT the same thing as burned/scorched - sun stress changes the colour a bit but isn’t necessarily a bad thing!

Reduce the pot size. It looks like it’s growing in a tunnel. I’m not surprised it’s drying out. I would recommend your friend completely change out the soil. The soil and pot should be just big enough to hold the roots. Give it a bit of fertilizer too. 🪴🍀

Looks savable to me. Aloes can handle a good deal of neglect. Like everyone said, drown it good and I bet it will start to perk up. I have mine in a tiny pot and I’ve gone 6 months or more between watering, and it’s still kicking. I’ve had it for 20 years.

😂 It’s not very impressive. Like I said, I neglect it often. It got real leggy a few years back, so I took some layers off and re rooted it. It also doesn’t get good light at all cause there’s a tree right outside the window. But it’s a 20 year old working aloe. I use it whenever someone gets a burn. Nothing better than fresh aloe!
