Help! My Swiss cheese plant, Remy, has been doing great for a while, putting out lots of new leaves and growing fast. But when I moved her back to my dorm after break, I noticed lines of dry brown spots on her lower leaves. Over the last week they have spread - some are turning yellow at the edge of the brown spot and more spots have appeared on all the leaves, even the newest one. Repotted ~2 weeks ago to add a bit more soil. Anyone have an idea of the issue/ways to help her out?

Repot in a mix with more perlite and bark and move it up a light level. Remove all the old soil and check for rotted roots - remove them and let them callus before repotting. Mix a solution with a bottle of 3% hydrogen peroxide in a gallon of water and carefully rinse the roots, avoid getting it on the leaves. Remove the yellow leaves they won’t recover. If that’s where you have it growing it’s not enough light. Add a grow light FACING the monstera… they like to face their light source. Also you may need to add a small fan or air purifier if the air is stagnant then bad stuff like that will grow… reduce watering in winter and only water if it reads dry on a moisture meter and by your finger check…

I don’t have supplies to do much of that, but I did check the roots and they don’t appear rotted. I will move up a light level, any other changes I can make that don’t require more supplies?

this is actually a mini monstera, which is technically not a monstera at all lol! this is r. tetrasperma. either way, trim back dead bits of leaves (don't touch the living tissue!). i think he needs humidity. a mister is soso useful, i highly encourage you to buy one, and they're cheap anyways.
