Im a newbie to Prayer plants. Is this a fungus starting up on my Rattlesnake Prayer plant? I don’t think Ive been over watering as Ive been using a moisture meter. I removed 2 leaves with spots. The rest of the plant is healthy looking.

So the reason there are spots, and those two leaves are kinda yellow is because of an under watering issue. For prayer plants, you have to keep the soil moist at all times. But, fungus and bacteria love a good moist environment as much as your plant does. So that’s the brown spots. You can try an application of a general houseplant fungicide and that will kill any active and future fungus diseases. You could also try spraying neem oil over the plant, or rubbing it over the leaves of the plant. That will get rid of any fungus or bacteria.

Thx very much. Think I will stop misting for a bit until Im sure no new spots will appear.

The spots look a bit like sunburn via droplets on the leaves.

Thx. The plant gets about an hour of filtered light in the morning, then diffuse light in the afternoon. Don’t think its sun burn
