Is this physical damage or something about my conditions? This leaf started to unfurl today only to reveal it snapped at the stem :( My room stays at 55-60% humidity and this plants about a foot away from a grow light, chunky soil watered roughly every 6 days or when mostly dried out. Philodendron Melanochrysum
I find quite a few of my philo’s get “stuck”. Only philodendrons! I try and place them close to my humidifier and give it a bit more light when I start to see new growth. Sometimes I’ll try to help with a q-tip if I see that stem is really really bending and looks like it’ll snap!

Yes make sure it’s enough moisture or spritz it. They get stuck if it too dry
