Does anyone know what’s going on with my Rex Begonia Vine? It’s a rescue from my Sister’s house that was improving rapidly but suddenly got these spots. They are only on one of the new vines.

I’m not sure but looks like a kind of fungus. I suggest captain jacks fungicide, just follow the instructions. Good luck 🍀

Thanks! That was my worry. I’ll go grab some.

I’ve done a lot of reading today and used google’s AI photo search Apparently it is likely cystoliths. They’re naturally occurring but I can’t find why or how to fix them. My sister had a pretty bad gnat infestation from over watering. I repotted it (into a faster draining medium) and cut back the munched on foliage a couple months ago. I haven’t seen any gnats in it since. Some places say cystoliths are a natural way of fighting off pests by producing fake bug eggs. I think that’s pretty cool but I would like a way to make it stop. Any ideas?
0 likesI suggest snipping off that entire vine and let the plant grow new ones.
