SOS!! lol. My Thai Con has browning spots . For context, they are not crispy but not soft . Almost banana peel-like. It’s at my boyfriend’s house and he waters it whenever it reaches around a 1.5 on the moisture meter . It’s always been very happy with this watering schedule and recently put out a beautiful new leaf as well. But this began happening over the past couple weeks and has continued to spread . It’s on the whites on the leaves . Could this be an issue with lighting? Watering? Photosynthesizing issues? Maybe just the way it’s reacting to something? Idk! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!! 🫶🏻

Side note- I will be getting a MUCH better moss pole. This is what I was working with when I was just adding support and getting it to grow in the right direction before I picked out the right pole and before it starts putting out arial roots in that direction. I figured out what pole I’m getting I just need to order it! :)

it’s definitely overwatered — pull it out make sure the roots aren’t rotting

It’s definitely overwatered especially if the dark areas are not crispy dry. I would not fully trust water meters. I recommend adding another verification method that the soil is dry such as using a wooden meat skewer or similar tool to check the moisture content. 🍀🪴
