Curable???? My Croton experienced a draft and became droopy. I put it near a plant light but it started to stiffen so I moved it back to its location. Can it be saved?? 😞

They hate dry soil and that causes them to drop leaves and don’t worry if it drops all it’s leaves, because mine does that so I just watered it more frequently to keep the soil moist and my croton happy, so it doesn’t drop any more leaves.
0 Mi piaceThe soil isn’t dry. It has always been happy until we had a cold front come through and I think it got too cold in the window. I now have a towel in that window which is typically what I do in winter and it is usually fine. I haven’t made any changes. This has me perplexed 🤔
0 Mi piaceThen it might a problem with how you are watering it or the humidity is too low.
0 Mi piaceooof idk. crotons are really hard. they don’t like change of any kind and it sounds like it has experienced quite a bit. i’m concerned also about the fact that it’s lost all its color. i don’t think there’s any coming back from this unfortunately. they’re notorious for slowly dying — punishing you 😅
0 Mi piaceI wish I had help but I recently had two of my three crotons go from being completely fine and thriving to dropping like flies I’ve tried to put them in a warmer spot w bottoms watering but is still dropping its leaves 😔
0 Mi piaceI appreciate all of your responses.
