Hey yall! I was all excited about my new Alocasia Polly having great new growth and 2 new shoots/ possible new leaves (Picture 1). But last night a whole seemingly healthy leaf just fell off? Im attempting to propagate it though I’ve never done anything like this with an Alocasia (Picture 3). However it also has 2 droopy and seeming to be getting wrinkly shoots on the same stalk as the new ones? (Picture 2) Does it possibly need to be repotted so that it can keep old leaves as well as new ones? Or is this just normal for this plant?! Not wanting to freak out but really wanna help my new baby. 😅 Thanks in advance, Plant mom who is totally NOT freaking out. 🤣

I don't have this plant, but seems it having too much water. Droopy and yellowish new leaves is a symptom of excessive watering.

Alocasia can only be propagated with the corms(bulbs) they produce in the soil. When you repot, the corms will be throughout the soil. I googled how to propagate Alocasia with the corms. I found a real good video on it on YouTube also. Hope this helps!!
