Not sure what’s going on here? The feathery bits just keep getting duller and duller anyone know anything?

    The feathery part is the flower of that plant. Flowers exist for reproduction of a plant and once they begin producing seeds the flowers will wilt and fall off. To keep the flowers going all season cut the flowers off before they can produce seeds. It will give you a lovely vase full of color for the home, and get the plant to grow more as it's goal of reproduction was not fulfilled
