Has anyone got any tips for caring for a Venus fly trap? When i bought this, all the choose wasn’t great due to most of the leaves already being dead - i didn’t realise they die once they are touched!?

I would snip the bloom from it so it’s not wasting energy to flower and will encourage growth. Only use distilled water and keep moist. I keep water in the cache pot and once it’s gone I’ll let it sit for a couple days and then fill with water again.

the traps can close 3-4 times before dying off, as it takes a lot of energy to do this. make sure to only trigger them while feeding. your lil guy looks like it would benefit from some extra sun too, 6-8 hrs of direct light is optimal. i agree with Brittany - i keep my carnivourus plants the same way with distilled water and an 'extended' bottom watering method good luck!
