My plant’s leaves are falling and turning yellow, but, the trunk looks good overall. If this has happened to you, advice would be greatly appreciated! (Has not been over or under watered)

You actually seem to have a Retusa not a Microcarpa. They often are mislabeled but the retusa has longer leaves. The yellowing usually indicates a nutrient deficiency. Most common are usually potassium, nitrogen and magnesium… Make sure you are using a bonsai specific fertilizer and water when the top inch of soil is dry. It also could indicate that your plant is pot/root bound. A simple root maintenance session can fix that. You only remove about 15% of the root ball though.
