I’m trying to save a little spider plant that I thought was dying but started growing a new leaf! It’s been fighting so I want to give it a chance. I just moved it to a smaller pot but does anyone know if potting it in water would help it grow better?

I’m not too knowledgeable about propagating, but from my experience some plants just do better that way. One of them being spider plants, and they can still grow babies that way too

I’ve found spider plants aren’t too picky about light but they are very picky about water. Watering every two weeks on the same day each week can help the plant especially if it’s in a smaller pot.

as long as it’s in the smallest pot possible it should be okay. water only when the soil is mostly to completely dry, and make sure it’s getting lots of bright indirect light, some direct light is okay.
