My pothos that Iā€™ve had for years has suddenly started dropping leaves like thereā€™s no tomorrow. about 2-3 months ago i repotted into a bigger pot and took 50 odd cuttings from it, but now suddenly itā€™s dying faster than i can keep up. Only thing thatā€™s changed is the soil, which is a mix of compost and coir, i started giving it a small amount of bio feed, and then the temperature has obviously skyrocketed recently. My monstera (last photo, not all my leaves are splitting sadly) is also now dropping leaves. Not mushy or crispy, justā€¦ yellow. Iā€™ve tried pest spray but it seemed to make it worse, i just donā€™t want to lose all my babies in one go !

    also, the pothos specifically has tiny brown specs all over the back of the leaves, they canā€™t be removed

    Cut off all of the yellow leaves, check the roots. I think also it could be shock from repotting and the pest spray as it can burn the leaves.

    They might need food, how often do you fertilize? Or at all? If you donā€™t go get a liquid fertilizer and mix it according to the water quantity listed on the bottle. My monstera did this in spring when I didnā€™t realize it was at the peak of its growth cycle and needed more food. Otherwise I would assume it was over watering, or under watering. If the soil is dry water. If it is too moist check roots for rot. I wouldnā€™t repot again since it could shock it to death. But putting it in a place where itā€™s warmer will help the soil dry a bit faster.

    I agree with the others, your pothos is in shock which can happen when repotting, but you also took quite a few cuttings. Depending on the size of the root ball, the same pot might have been enough since pothos like to be root bound. I would remove all the yellowing leaves and pin the trailing vines back into the pot so they develop roots and the plant can focus on new growth. I would also fertilize your tropical plants regularly, like every other watering. The spring/summer is their peak season so they need to be fed regularly. I use Fox Farms.
