Anyone know what would eat across the top of my elephant ears like this? Assuming it’s a pest. Ty!

Have you checked for caterpillars? I seen someone else awhile back say they had a caterpillar eat an entire leaf off their plant in a matter of like a week. Not sure how common that would be tho.
3 LikesI don’t see any but I guess they would be in the soil?
0 LikesI don’t know much either LOL. I definitely just wanted to throw the idea your way. If I remember correctly the lady from awhile back found one on the stem of her plant but i quickly looked it up. And they will hide anywhere like rolled up leaves and it says they eat at night!

1 LikeI might try some neem oil if it keeps happening I don’t see any right now but thank you!
0 LikesCaterpillars hide between structure, pots, under leaves and wrap leaves like a sleeping bag. The photo shows over night damage on the largest leaf of my dragon tail plant. It took me two days of getting outside early to catch the big brown caterpillar. They go into hiding early morning.
4 LikesTy I’ll keep an eye out
2 LikesCaptain Jack’s Dead Bug spray will get them but you have to make sure you saturate it so the spray gets down into all the cracks and folds, and you can clean your plants with neem oil for maintenance to prevent the little creatures from eating. They don’t like the bitter oil.
