Got this Aloe Vera plant that looks so sick. The soil is so dry and the leaves are brown/drooping at the ends. Can anyone give me advice on how to make it healthy again? I know I should water it, but what should I do about the brown bits?

You can just cut the brown tips off of the plant 🪴

It looks like your pot has drain holes so that's good. If it's in a dense soil you should repot it with something looser like a cactus soil. The pot looks like it's plastic if you're going to transplant it I would put it in something that breathes like terracotta or an unglazed ceramic. When it comes to choosing a pot if you're going to do that, I think a pot that is wider than it is tall would be a good choice simply because an allo tends to get top heavy and The wider base would be more stable. It's not an actual necessity but I found it helpful with one of my aloes. These types of pots are called azalea pots in some cases. Indoors it should get bright indirect light. Although it takes direct sun outdoors, the glass in your window can intensify light and burn the owl leaves so indirect is best. If it's getting too much light the leaves begin to look Gray. The soil should dry almost completely between waterings but it doesn't like to be dry for overly long. This is probably why you have a couple Brown leaf tips. They grow naturally in warm dry climates so they don't require any extra humidity in your house but keep them away from the windows in the winter. They also grow in nutritionally poor soil so fertilizing is only necessary at the beginning of the spring. Also, in the winter they tend to go dormant and require less watering as long as they've had proper watering during the growing season. If the leaves are thick and healthy you may not have to water at all during the winter or maybe just once or twice. I hope this helps.
